Michael Jerrom MA FCA
Michael, a director, trained at a top ten London firm before moving to the largest independent practice in Reading, gaining experience in family owned enterprises, ranging from retail to manufacturing. He then joined Grant Thornton as an Audit Manager, to gain experience in a larger client practice with responsibility for family owned companies and large audits. Wishing to take responsibility as a principal, he joined Michael Jerrom in 1993 and together they practised as Jerrom and Company for fifteen years. Their focus was providing owner directors and the self- employed of small to medium size businesses with a virtual financial director for professional and personal solutions to problems. Jerrom and Company merged with RJ Cooper & Co in 2005 forming Cooper Dawn Jerrom Ltd.
Michael is the compliance partner responsible for statutory compliance, technical and all quality control within the company. In addition, he has a portfolio of clients providing audit, accounting and tax advice.
Michael enjoys rugby, and is the treasurer for Reading Rugby Football club. Being a family man, the family consume much of his spare time but he does find time for “gastronomy and travel”!
